I have been reading where some fans are saying that Scelfo and his assistants need to make themselves more accessible. That boggles my mind. The football coaches were at most Tulane home baseball games, mingling with fans, positing themselves along the fence with the railbirds. They make more booster club meetings than any coaching staff since Gibson. Maybe those fans should make themselves more accessible.

I can't complain about accessibility to the fans at booster club's etc. HEck, I sat next to Scelfo at one of the downtown meetings.
But what about media accessibility? This is lacking.

I spoke with Ed Daniels about that very subject and he told me that Tulane's SID office does as good a job as any in getting the information out.

I think it's just typical Tulane fan syndrome. You've got to be complaining about something, even if you have to make up a grievance.
I don't really care if Scelfo makes a lot of time to rub elbows with the fans. And if he starts winning ball games consistently, nobody else will care either.
