Well for one thing, this poll has three Atlantic-10 teams in it- Dayton, VCU, and St. Joseph's. The Atlantic-10 is not a mid major league as it is often ranked above some of the power 5 leagues in basketball. BYU is also included in this poll. As was pointed out in an article linked earlier on this board, BYU would probably be the #1 target of the Big 12 for expansion but for the fact that BYU refuses to play any games on Sunday.
