It was a pretty good showing of HSBC today. I think he was on 2 shows. He also didn't let himself get roped into the whole UA/grey shirting story.

RE: HCBC on WJOX
At least three Saturday scrimmages next fall at three different sites: On-Campus; Legion Field and an undisclosed Over the Mountain location.
Coach Clark stated that the "scrimmages" will actually be close to an actual game day atmosphere with the band and cheerleaders, etc. He also said that the he was going to turn the teams loose and open things up during game play.
The first scrimmage will be on Saturday August 27th, with one in October and the other in November.

RE: HCBC on WJOX
Glad to hear a Saturday as an option. In the @uabalumni event last Thursday in the ATL, I asked @UAB_AD this question and the ideas were going to be Thursdays, but Sept, Oct, Nov dates. A Saturday will make it possible for me to attend being in GA

I agree with you Hooverblazer, He's a great leader, coach and an excellent representative of the university.
I like that he speaks on shows like opening drive on Mondays. I think that type of thing has definitely been improved the perception about the program with others around the state.
The response about our recruiting class has been refreshing and it seems that their overall tone about the football program seems to have improved a little over the last several months.

Love the idea of one on campus and one at an "unnamed" over-the-mountain stadium. There won't be 25,000 people showing up to watch a scrimmage, so smaller facility will make for better atmosphere.

I would guess either Spain Park's field on Valleydale or the one on 119 near Oak Mountain schools.
