It will be interesting to see if Ole Miss take him and risk the chance on being turned in with their recent issues. Time will tell.

He's trying to go the hardship route (family illness) and transfer without sitting out a year.

Don't blame him. But if all else fails, he's still going to Ole Miss.
Have you considered going with him? Don't Blame you for going. 04-rock

Half the players on the Memphis roster wish they had SEC offers. If they did out of high school, MOST probably wouldnt be here. Don't fool yourself. You take a kid like Hart and 99% of the time it works out.

Who was the last Memphis player to transfer to an SEC school??

I agree with you that most memphis players would love to have played in the SEC. But once you come to a school and play two years and go through wars and bond with your teammates and for you to say you were using this as a audition. And all this for somebody who didn't even want you. In my a opinion your a traitor. Plus he's a good player but with the way freeze recruits he probably won't see the field.

I agree, most players who never get the chance to play for their dream school do "learn to love" wherever they end up. This is a fairly odd case...but he'll play at Ole Miss. Freeze recruits well, but that staff has missed on their LB targets.

Ole Miss will take him. Desperately need help at LB. No one will be able to prove tampering.

I meant I don't blame him for trying to get a waiver. Anyone in his situation would...

Per mapquest Memphis (time wise) is closer to Grenada than Oxford.

Google maps has Memphis - Grenada @ 1 hr. & 36 min

Google probably more accurate than mapquest.

Even so, I can't imagine the NCAA giving a waiver on 22 minutes of drive time.

Not sure - has a waiver ever been granted for such a slim difference?

He can go to the Univ of Missippi-Grenada and give her round the clock care.
