That's the way I understood it was going to go down this year.
In the past, I don't think (I could be wrong) they posted times until the field was set

If they go with what is already set and we get the #1 seed, the BJCC will emptier than a politician's campaign promise.

Somebody needs to write whoever is in charge of this

They plan to have the referees call the games so that UAB loses enough games to get the prime time seed.

I was wondering if that was the case this weekend until those guys said, "we've screwed UAB too much," and helped us out at the end :)

I heard some time ago the start times are fixed because of big complaints last year. Tech people especially hated that UAB got preferred time slots.

Tech people need to get over it. The host school has ALWAYS had the preferential time slot so that attendance would get as big a boost as possible. It also looks great on TV to have a good crowd during a prime time TV spot. The conference needs to do what is best for the conference in terms of revenue and TV exposure.

Yeah, I think that's why times are set this year.

But I'm hoping they change their mind towards the end. After all, money talks.

Host team = best prime time slot

They need to change that.

This conference has to do what it has to do to help out the best teams. Rearrange the time slots and make the traditional best teams only play the traditional worst teams once.

Maybe somebody at conference HQ already knows we will be the 2 or 3 seed ?

Or maybe they ate trying to increase to attendance at the afternoon games
