Campus map shows it was to be in the R-1 not Hillside lot and I know there was some construction going on there back during FB season.

Maybe I labeled the lot hillside incorrectly, it's the parking lot across the main drag from the tennis courts

To clarify in case anyone does not want to click on any links.

At the conclusion of the spring semester 2016 D Hall will be demolished and replaced with a new dining facility (D Hall 2.0?).

A temporary dining facility is being constructed in R1 called D Hub and will open in June 2016 and stay open until the new D Hall is completed and opened, scheduled for fall 2018.

Need to stop by R 1 and see what the Hub looks like, haven't been by there since the end of football season.

Wonder what kind of crush D Hall will see the last few weeks this semester as the end approaches?

Yeah, I remember when we got excited about a baked potato bar opening in D hall.

LOL. That's so true. I lived off campus starting my sophomore year, and didn't eat much on campus, but we thought we had it made when PC Dukes added chicken tenders to the menu.

Hburg, can you please merge these two threads?

This was posted by the JMU Alumni Association FB page.
"The temporary dining facility, D-Hub, is well under construction in the old baseball lot behind the Village. D-Hall will serve its last meal at dinner on May 6. Who's planning one last trip to D-Hall before demolition begins?"

I lived on the chicken patty sandwich at Dukes.

Don't know that I've eaten one since...

Damn - I was hoping they built an indoor practice field for the MRDs!
