Yep, hes gotta get better still adjusting.

No its not a black or white thing for whomever said so.

As Blazer fouls mounted and WKY fouls DID NOT (if UAB had shot 100% for its FTs, it would not have equaled the FTs made by WKY), did UAB players become more concerned with drawing fouls than making their lay ups? We had many instances where UAB got neither, often when UAB was only a point or two down. As a result, I don't recall getting a tie or taking a lead in the second half.

The shot selection when the game got close last night was pretty frustrating. It was apparent our shots weren't falling so I don't understand why we didn't attack the basket more.

Perhaps because we were getting hacked and not one whistle was going our way?

The last of Nicks TO's was an old trick. The WKU defenders used a sweaty spot on the floor as an extra defender between them. Nick saw the gap, but didn't see the perspiration.

There was a lot of old school tricks last night that reminded me of the Bruise Brothers last night. The dark gym; the sweaty floor; & most of Johnson's box outs/ clearouts.

We lost a game on the road at Diddle. Happens.
Norton is better than last year, and all of our guys are capable of playing better.
We all knew it was fun to have the streak but would likely end.
We will need to play better to beat Marsha.
Go Blazers!

WKU shot nearly 50% from 3. Hard to beat any team shooting nearly 50% from 3. Add in the fact we had a few folks not playing their best and we had an awful night rebounding and you have sealed your fate. Sure the officiating stunk, but quite honestly I expect that on the road.

Hopefully they get things turned around this morning. It won't be easy but we are certainly capable of beating Marshall.
