Big stretch of games even bigger now
After tonight's play UConn is only tournament eligible team with less than 3 conference losses. UConn and Cincinnati play tomorrow. Then both come to town next week.Tigers are half game out of first round bye. Stealing a win at SMU, then taking care of business at home next week would put Tigers back at top of the standings.

Big four game stretch @SMU, UConn, Cinn and @Houston.

No easy games left after that. At least get Tulsa here.

AAC is close a single loss can send you from a top two seed to the bottom 4 teams

Not sure what you mean by tournament eligible. I don't believe the NCAA ever acted on the regulation that you must have a winning conference record to get an At Large - if that's what you're talking about.

Good news is that as these games loom, we are peaking.

I agree that we will be in good shape if we can win the next 4 games. However, that is a big IF. I am going to guess that we will go 1-3 over these games. I assure you, though, I am hoping for 4-0.

I just cannot see his team going 4-0 thru this stretch of games. Just no way. 2-2 would be lucky IMO. But like you, I would love to see them go 4-0. That would be sweet.

Doesn't really matter. RPI at 129 today.

Even if Memphis RUNS THE TABLE the rest of the regular season, their projected RPI would be 44.

Have to win the AAC for a NCAA bid.

I guess if they can avoid finishing 7th or worse, they will avoid an extra game. That's the only real incentive.

If we run the table and acquit ourselves well in the AAC tournament without ultimately winning it, it's hard to believe we wouldn't get in as an 11 or 12 seed or something like that

But that isn't going to happen.
