Went to pick up some extra tickets and so far it's not looking anything close to a sellout.

Don't know if we will make it to a sellout or not but definitely more buzz about UAB basketball and tonight's game than I've seen in some years. Especially given who the opponent is and the time of year.

This is the time of year people in Alabama notice that its basketball season. Good buzz about this team though. Bring a friend.

I'm hoping for a huge walk up crowd.

Will call is opening early at 4pm due to higher demand.

Do tickets go on sale at the door at a specific time? I'm driving down tonight and will buy two, but it may be easier online.

Not sure. We'll be getting there around 6:30.

I've got 5 newbies coming with me today. Other students need to try and get their family members and friends to come to the game.

They'll be 6-6,500 there, I'm guessing. Whatever the #, it should be a good game.

I'm not expecting miracles overnight. Everyone, including haase, knows this has been a longstanding, multifactorial problem. It'll take a while to fix it. I'm looking for a better crowd than Rice, and I'll be happy with that. I think the students will show out again. If we keep the win streak going, I expect sell outs at the end of the season.

IMHO, a sold out Bartow Arena would not be good, but rather fantastic.

The crowds most of the forum seems to be used to seeing exceed what is normal to me. The paltry amount of people that typically showed up when we were arguably mediocre is what I'm used to.

These spikes have been really nice to see since I've only seen games really well attended in old pictures. I don't expect a sellout, but news of things trending up like this is pretty good news.

to me, the main problem with the lower level isn't the lack of tickets sold...but the number of tickets that were accounted for that end up as empty seats

6 to 6.5k for a regular season game against North Texas is a good crowd. When's the last time we had that many fans show up for a game against a mediocre no name opponent?
