Conference Standing Tie Breakers?
How does CUSA handle tie breakers? Is it overall record or head to head record?

Unless it changed, head to head.

RE: Conference Standing Tie Breakers?
So the first tie break would be head to head record and second would be overall record?

RE: Conference Standing Tie Breakers?
If we could beat Marshall, we'd essentially have a two game lead on both MTSU and Marshall. Even if they were to beat us in our rematches, we'd have a tied head to head record and better overall record.

I believe its something much more complicated than that but not positive.

RE: Conference Standing Tie Breakers?
I thought after the head to head tie breaker the 2nd tiebreaker was your record against the next best team.

I don't think overall record enters the picture until way down the tiebreaking process.

I believe it is head to head, then record against the next highest ranked team, then the next ranked team and down the list.

It gets more complicated in ties between more than two teams.

Unless we collapse or have a major injury, I don't think we will have to worry about tiebreakers

I agree with you, but I like to think about all the scenarios.

RE: Conference Standing Tie Breakers?
Under 1 scenario we could have a 4 way tie with everything else equal.

That would lead to 3 coin flips to decide it.
