Like usual, I've been right for 6-7 months. When will you accept that Trump is great and will make America great again?

I would have thought so a couple of days ago, but I think his NY values are going to sink him.

Trump scored big by turning the New York values into a 911 reverential. Overall, push!

I do think Trump won that immediate exchange, but Cruz is winning it now.

Not quite there but I starting to think it might be

in_vita_l_

Just a couple more letters. A big win in Iowa will buy an "e."

Stating he is winning doesn't make it so. There is no factual basis for stating that Cruz is winning on this point. You may think he is, and he very well may be. We'll have to wait to see how it plays out. Maybe if he jumps in the polls, you'll have evidence to argue your point.

Saw a facebook link showing him in People Magazine in 1998 saying he could run as a Republican and lie to them and get a lot of votes. That Republicans were the dumbest people in the world.

Don't know if that is real or not, but it would be pretty interesting if it is.

This guy demonstrates the bubble he lives in by saying it is a two man race (his thesis is that the media lives in a bubble and therefore can't understand why Trump and Cruz are still up there). Most people really aren't that focused right now. Polls don't mean much as has been repeatedly demonstrated over the last few primary cycles. Most New Hampshire people don't make their mind up until the last 3 days.

That said, its an interesting read. Trump and Cruz do have the best chance at this point. But its too early to rule out Rubio, Jeb or Christie.

Problem is everyone in Iowa, SC, and the SEC know what it means. DeBlasio, Coumo, Clinton, Schumer, Weiner, Spitzer, Rangel, Trump. New York values. That's the narrative. And Trump gets schlonged into playing the offended victim, which is the opposite of his appeal. Great dog whistle by Cruz.

But everyone in Iowa, SC and the SEC respects and honors 9/11. The old W. trick is to wrap yourself into 9/11 and they will follow. Plus there is something a little off putting about categorizing an entire region of 20 million people.

That's the likely reason firm is patting himself on the back so hard. Or he's trolling. Either one makes complete sense.

RE: When will you finally admit that Trump is inevitable?
Trump sounded almost Presidential during the last debate. It was the first time I could actually see him in the Oval Office.
I think he lost the 'birther' exchange with Cruz but I do think it will be brought up if Cruz is on the ticket
Trump won the NY Values exchange. Pivoting to 9/11 took the 'Elite Liberal' argument off the table. The SEC voters will now associate Trump and New York with that and the Rudy era (that's coming next) and not where the NYT and 'Main Stream Media' are based. If you want proof of Trump winning that exchange? Cruz dropped it like a hot potato and didn't follow up. He'd have been better sticking with something like 'Hollywood Values'
Answering the question about 'Blind Trust' was a home run. In one swoop he affirmed 'family values' and fortified his 'I'm doing this for America not Me' argument
If he finishes 2 in Iowa and wins NH and SC it's over

It's Trump 2016.

Cruz has a shot and Rubio had a hint of one. The rest need to just go home.

Wrong, Cruz has been talking about it for 2 days. The moderators moved on after Trump's comments without giving Cruz a chance to rebut. Cruz is keeping it alive for a reason.

Trump/Cruz 2016

That's a winning ticket.

Some pundit (I forgot who) has suggested that Trump should announce that he will nominate Cruz to fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg's seat on the SCOTUS. That assumes of course that Ginsberg makes it another year. I think that Cruz would be an excellent justice.

Still thinking here. Ginsberg has indicated that she wants to be succeeded by a liberal. Even if she were to croak in 2016, it is unlikely a wacko liberal could get past the Senate. She appears to be betting that a Dem will win the Presidency and the Dems will take the Senate.

No. Trump said at the debate that he can't even be the VP. So bye.
