I knew Denzell "No Relation" Watts had been shooting well, but was surprised at Dirk Williams' rebounding stats. He has found his D and is Irk no more.

UTEP has four players that have made at least 15 three's so far this season. Likewise for UAB. You might be surprised who the fourth player is for UAB. His 3-pt shooting percentage is a hair higher than HaHa's free throw percentage.
IT need to be the only European on the team :)
Smallwood is 4-7 from downtown, which is a great percentage of 57%. But I'm talking about the four players on UAB who have made at least 15 three's so far this season. They are as follows:
Brown 31-73 .425
Norton 24-67 .358
Williams 19-57 .333
Watts 15-28 .536
Denzell Watts is the fourth player.
Denzell clearly needs to shoot more 3's.

RE: UTSA Game Thread
William Lee has 44 blocks through the first 15 games. Mehinti is second with 17.
Norton and Cokley are tied with 16 steals a piece.
Norton has 78 assists, while Brown has 50.
Cokley has 101 rebounds. Lee has 84.
Dirk Williams is 18-19 from the charity stripe, for 95%. Norton is 21-23, for 91%.

I heard Ingram tried to give him a UAB shirt but he left very quickly. The API ijit, not Ingram.
Ingram gave a lady wearing a Roll Turd shirt a new UAB shirt and she put it on and wore it the rest of the game.
That is great! I said to the people around me that we should go give the Auburn kid a UAB shirt.

Maybe had we beaten Auburn the kid would have already been wearing a UAB shirt.

It's crazy, some seem like they just now notice this. Now if we get this thing called defense down boy we would really be trouble.

I wouldn't mind seeing us run a two point guard system with Norton and Denzell on the floor together. I know Hak is our "defensive" specialist, but he brings so little on offense, I always wonder if it's worth it. If you look at Denzell's per 40 minute stats, he would average about 6 assists per game. For reference, Norton's per 40 minute assist number is 8.4 per game. The offense would flow even smoother with the extra playmaker on the floor.
Denzell shot the three well last year too, but it was such a low volume that you couldn't really say if he was a legitimate shooter. The volume still isn't there so far this season, but he's knocking down threes at a very high rate.

Well, I don't wanna criticize Haase since he's footing the bill but....
I totally agree, I so ready to see him start also he has the highest shooting percentage on the team for like a month now. I feel that we're lacking on defense and thats the thing Baxter is supposedly great at but the only defensive stat were good at is blocks, Cokley was our steals leader for a minute. Watts has shot it well and is a great scorer and did it in limited minutes and is a point or two behind Baxter in ppg. Dirk Williams is a great ball handler and playmaker and the third leading scorer. Also yes we are great on offense big deal.
Also we've got to find minutes for Smallwood, and get better defensively. I'm afraid a bigger point guard or move athletic point will kill us. Also hate when we penetrate we bounce the pass to the big instead of lob or lob city it but that's just my opinion. Both Madison and Baxter killa the movement on offense at times and our post guys have had multiple games where they all end up in foul trouble so give me Smallwood. Also maybe we have so many blocks because we can't keep the ball out the post

Also in the first quarter (10 mins), or half Nick needs to get his shot going and keep it going and then facilitate. Rib and close in the 4th quarter ( last ten minutes) but I know we like this team ball. We can start playing for 2017 right now if Haase wants too.
