When does the current tag design cycle off and is replaced?

I noted the two Miss. schools that have Alabama tags. The boss in the state Revenue Department stated that out of state school tags would be made if demand was sufficient, but that the state would not send "Alabama Bucks" to those out of state schools.

It is ironic that we choke at sending $40 to out of state schools while our two SEC schools annually send millions of "Alabama Bucks" to out of state schools every year, often to schools our own university teams must play in conference games.
