He shot 31% from the field and 29% from the 3 as a sophomore at NIU and still managed to put up 8 shots a game (in only 23 minutes!!). There's no other way to describe that except horrendous.
If you want to argue the talent was always there, go for it. But the fact of the matter is not only did he suck at NIU, but it didn't slow him down from shooting.
Let it go, man.
If you think that is bad then stop sticking up for Orris because his stats are worse.

Sometimes I wonder if people ever actually read what I say. I don't think I've ever said Orris isn't bad. I've simply defended the head coach who took one of the worst 50 programs in all of college basketball and had them 12-2 right now.
But by all means, you know more than both Carey and Monty!

It wasn't the player as he had talent. Shot selection sucked but whose job is that to fix. And who held that job at the time?

Won't disagree with that whatsoever. My point always was he compounded being bad by still shooting a ton. It was a deadly combination.
