Atlanta Dukes
Hey yall, so I am a senior at Madison, and just accepted a job in the Atlanta area, and was just wondering if yall get together to watch games, or hold events as alums or anything of that nature? Thanks again for the help.

You can also find contact info for the Atlanta chapter via the Alumni home page at jmu.edu.

RE: Atlanta Dukes
There are a lot of JMU alums in Atlanta; however, it's not a very active alumni group, unfortunately. There are some events throughout the year that a small group tend to go to, including community service events, watch parties (these seem to be few and far between), etc. The best place to go to stay connected is the JMU Atlanta Facebook page. Just do a Facebook search for JMU Atlanta Alumni, and it should come up. The group that coordinates most of the alumni events is the group that runs this page, so that's your best bet.

Congrats on the job and new city! I moved here about 13.5 years ago right out of undergrad and really like it here (hence why I'm still here). I do wish there was a more active group of JMU alumni here, but hopefully that will grow in time.

As ETC said, feel free to PM me if you have questions or need any other info.
