Along with not reaching for a real-looking gun, if you do not do these things, chances are almost 100% that you will be fine. The tiny, tiny minority who do not turn out ok are because they run, fight, argue, pull out a gun, etc.

Tell that to the young woman murdered by a UT cop after a traffic stop years ago. Or the motorcyclist paralyzed by an Ottawa Hills officer. Or any number of others flat out murdered. And think about what you said- 8 bullets in the back because you ran from the police? Compliance is USUALLY a good idea, not always.

Did I say EVERYTIME? Nope.

How many interactions between LEO and citizens are there every day? How many end in the person getting "needlessly" shot or killed by the LEO? It doesn't make it ok, but people try to stereotype all cops as bad cops because of a very few bad apples.

Actually , you DID say every time. Read your last sentence. It was that statement to which I responded.

I forgot to include a little word (usually). If you read the sentence before that, you'll see my point (where I said, "chances are almost 100% that you will be fine").

And I'll stand by what I said. If you listen and follow instructions, don't run, don't pull out a gun, etc., chances are astronomically high that you will be just fine.

Yep. And sometimes you'll be murdered like Melissa Herstrum so be safe at all times even if that means disobeying an officer.
