Since each season is a different season, you don't know if there will be 3 P5 teams that get through the conference title games undefeated or if everyone has two losses.

Its all about preseason positioning. If they are top 15 to start and go undefeated, I think they have an above average shot at it, barring 4 undefeated teams from P5 conferences.

Every season is a different season. That is why I don't waste my time with preseason hype or preseason predictions. Learned years ago it was a waste of time. All I do these days is look at what teams have their star players returning and look at the previous three recruiting classes as players from those classes will be the new players playing for the most part.

It didn't use to be a waste of time. You used to be able to just ride your rep to the finish line and that's still partially true.
