Poinsettia Bowl: Final Thoughts
This is why I stopped going to post-season games. I cannot stand spending my hard-earned money to be pissed off and feel like ****. At home, I can turn the game off, which is exactly what I did.

And if we were favored in those 4 bowl games that'd be a problem. We were favored in 1.

We need to be favored to not play like crap in the postseason games?

Boise state was a 10-point favorite. We got curb stomped by 48 points.

So the only game we were favored in, we lost. And all 3 we were not favored in, we lost by a lot more than the spread.

We were favored heavily in Jordan Lynch's final MAC Championship game. We got destroyed in that game too.

The people that act like it's ok to play like garbage just because NIU was the underdog are the worst.

You are never as bad as you look after a bad loss and you are never as good as you look after a big win. We will be fine going forward but Bob Cole does need to be thanked for his service and someone else needs a chance to run the offense.

The next 2-3 years are not gone, so long as we are in the MAC. But the allure that we are some giant G5 program took and ENORMOUS hit today. Sadly, we won't play a P5 next year to prove anyone wrong, and will probably lose to some other better G5 teams.

Could actually be worse, the best and brightest of the AAC got stampeded by the MAC, so we could be in the AAC and have a bleaker future and bleaker conference.

Jesus, the best team in the AAC is houston, the best team in the MAC lost to Memphis. Just shut up, you continually sound like a fool. The only win the MAC had against the AAC was in a meaningless bowl game, remember? if Bowling Green loses tonight we will be 0-2 vs the sun belt. You sound so moronic. the MAC is awful, it's an awful awful conference. Sorry to break it to you, again, but the truth hurts....again. Temple vs toledo was one game, but you're not smart enough to know that.

If a 15 point loss a curb-stomping/stampeding what's a 48 point loss?

9/11 2.0?

If other post-season losses left a bad taste in the team's mouths, what did this game leave?

33 yards, wow. Almost got doubled up points allowed/yards gained. Graham finishes with QBR of 1.0. These stats would be even outrageous for good SEC team vs worst FCS team

I think if most on this board were allowed to run wildcat for half the plays, we would gain more than 33 yards

Picked up the car at the dealer service shop after the game. Walked in with my NIU jacket and hat. Guy literally laughed and said "you got shellacked."

Nah, bowl games don't matter. Total random guy laughing at our program.

Time for change !!!!!

I am embarrassed to be a Huskie fan tonight...Sean Frazier has a tough decision to make now...If he does make a coaching change it could set the program back a couple of years but bite the bullet and do what needs to be done...

Yep have had a couple of those comments here in FL since I still have my NIU shirt on. Some others asked for the score and I acted dumb so I wouldn't have to hear about it. Sad sad game.
