Damn. AAC needed that one. No fault to Cincinnati though...played a great game.

But here in lies the problem with AAC basketball...the OOC records (as a whole) will continue to screw over the NCAA tourney caliber teams...

That was a heartbreaker

Cincy is obviously going to be very tough to beat in our league. Very gritty to come back from 13 down twice.

But that was brutal execution by Cincy in the last couple of minutes. Had control of the game, and then committed back to back turnovers followed by a missed FT. And couldn't get a stop on defense.

Wasted opportunity.

UC just can't get over the hump in these games. It's always somebody for the other team making the big shot and UC failing to do so.

It was great game but UC really could have used a win there.

There is no shame in losing to Iowa St. The game could have gone either way.

UC has had three tough losses to three top 10 teams. UC is not quite a top 10 team. Wishing it were so isn't going to make it happen.

They will improve and should do very well in the AAC and make the NCAA tournament.

If not for the Butler buzzer-beater and Niang's 3 for Iowa State with 11 seconds left, we would be in the top ten. Ifs and buts... games like these really suck.

My expectations for Cincy was way to high, they are good but not the team I thought they would be.

I was really impressed with Iowa State. To me, they look and play like like a pro team - play quick, and can shoot - looking back in a couple of years, I wonder how many of their guys play in the NBA - I remember WAY back, when Louisville, under denny crum, (not the little maggot there now), would play any body anywhere, pre- conference. they always took some losses, but, by conference play and tourney time, they were ready to roll. It kinda worked out for them. I think UC grew some last night - they didn't play great, but uc did come back, and, hopefully, the players start to get it.
