Been a while since we at the WMSB last posted, but as finals finally end (and Tribe basketball returns to the court!), we thought we would fire it back up again. This time, we have profiled one of our favorite all-time coaches--head coach Tony Shaver. He's had a storied past, and has found success everywhere he has coached. In the article, we jump back to his playing days at UNC, his coaching stints previous to W&M, and of course talk to his successes in Williamsburg--and yes, there are many.

Say what you want about coach, but he might just be the best thing that has happened to W&M basketball in quite some time. He is the coach we need to help recruit the scholar-athletes that W&M demands (specifically see the last segments of the article for a lot more details on this). Check out our article below. Yeah, very nice write-up. In the picture of Tony as a player at UNC he looks exactly like his son Austin Shaver looks today. No surprise, but interesting nontheless.
