RE: USF Game Thread
This team's passing ability is fun to watch. Also helps that we're shooting the ball better. Good to see we can still get a double digit road win on a night when Cokely doesn't score in double figures.

Norton sucks, Haase sucks and we should have won the game by 40.

Grateful that ASN is picking up our games but as MB stated they need to improve their production some. I really did enjoy Paul Hewit's breakdowns though. I hope he calls some more of our games.

RE: USF Game Thread
The game day atmosphere was not good. Very low turnout for USF. Not throwing rocks.
We had so many easy open looks and we hit most of those shots. It was almost as though they(USF) wanted to rebound more than defend. They seemed to try to defend our first or second offense option and then lost interest and tried to rebound. They never got any momentum and the crowd was out of it.
We need to bring as many friends and family and fans out to Bartow as we can. Our crowds make a difference and we need to keep these streaks alive!

I spent several minutes explaining to my wife why I loved that shot...even though, at first glance, it looked awful and rushed.
Then I realized she didn't care

I'm also glad ASN picked up this game for us, but I really wish they would show a shot clock during the game. Good road win!

The offense now looks night and day different from the way it did at the beginning of the season. The passing, ball handling, and shot selection are on point. Guys are passing and shooting with confidence.

It stinks that we had to start off so slowly, but the team is now rounding into form.

The great ball movement also can be attributed to the fact that most of the teams we played recently ran zone defenses and our guys were very mobile and active against that, and this offense against zone didnt require lots of screens to lead to open dribbling and passing opportunities.

Very smart coaching. One of the reasons I liked Paul Hewitt analyzing the gane was he explained that well. Many former coaches phone in their announcing duties. I really enjoyed his analysis.

+1

Really enjoyed his expertise so much that he's on my shortlist for replacements for Haase.

Bartow taught all of his teams to be aware of and prepared to take advantage of the 2 for 1 at the end of the first half.

As time is winding down in the first half, taking a quick shot early in the shot clock to ensure you get another possession. Two possessions to their one.

Easier to pull off with a shorter shot clock.

I didn't think Hewitt was very unbiased in calling the game. It seemed obvious to me that he had a connection with Antigua and was hating it that his friend was getting beat so badly.
