I like his confidence. Seems like he should be a big contributor for us as we replace Brown next year. I expect Williams and Lavender to split Brown's minutes.

Definitely catching his game at 10:30 versus Hoover. Love the SCI.

Looking good so far in 7A competition; according to the article he's averaging 23.1 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks(?).

Javien Williams gave a great Mr. Basketball audition in the 1st half. Did just a little bit of everything scoring-wise. Steal for UAB

This Johnson-Woodlawn game has all the makings of an epic finish. Woodlawn leads 29-28 at the half behind 22 points from Javien Williams

Javien Williams has 20 points of his 23 with 3:54 left in the 1st half against John Petty. He's a UAB signee and he's really, really good.

Despite a 68-54 loss to 5A #1 JO Johnson, Javien Williams stole the show with a 36 pt performance for 6A #7 Woodlawn

Fantastic first day at the Steel City Invitational. No question that UAB signee Javien Williams was the top performer. Had the gym buzzing

How good is Brown?

Good enough to win MVP at last year's C-USA Tournament.

IDK? No one has compared him and he has time to be as good or not as good as Brown. I was told he is really good but not given a scouting report. The limited times I have seen him he looked capable.

Next year's team will be deeper and more talented than this year's team and that's saying a lot...

Yep. Next year was always the year for me. It's haase's first senior class, and he has the loaded junior class behind it. Losing brown will hurt, but having everybody else back will be a huge help.

I feel like something has clicked for Norton recently. He is now running the offense instead of just seemingly looking to not make a mistake. I am really impressed with his progress
