Charlotte's OOC schedule sucks this year. We play EMU, Temple (away), Louisville (away), and Elon. I see wins against EMU and Elon. Probably safe to say the other two will be losses.

We have some good OOC schedules in the future too look forward to, but this year's is certainly underwhelming.

Louisville is in year 3 under Petrino with a Heisman candidate at QB. Marshall beat Teddy Bridgewater as a freshman and then beat a couple of John L. Smith's mediocre teams. I expect Louisville to come out of this one with a win.

The mediocre JLS team that beat Florida State that season. And Marshall beat them by 3 TD with Byron Leftwich playing on one leg.

Marshall beat freshman Teddy Bridgewater in 2011 with freshman Rakeem Cato. That was kind of a wash, no?

That said, none of the past matters. Should be a great atmosphere.

2-2, wins against Hampton and UMass, losses to N.C. State and App. Hoping for respectable performances in the losses.

Rice:

Definite wins: Prairie View A&M
Should win, but won't be easy: Army
Should not win, but seems more possible every day: Baylor
Might want to close your eyes for this one: Stanford

2-2 is expected at worse
3-1 is what many are thinking
4-0 would be icing on the cake

I'm thinking/hoping 3-1 but wouldn't be surprised if we went 2-2

I would be happy with UTSA being 2-2

0-4 OOC if no QB steps up to right the ship and Voldemort is killing the unicorns.

I don't see where everyone is crapping their pants over the young UL QB. Way to early to say he is Heisman material. He may prove me wrong, but the key word here is prove. Something I don't feel he has done fully yet.

So who has the best chance of beating a P5 school?

I'm tempted to say FIU, since they host 2 P5 that had losing records last year.
