This game scared the hell out of me. Much better opponent than JSU or ASU and just as capable as Ga State.
USC Upstate should get everyone some PT.
Brown driving / dribbling "scares the hell outta me". His ball handling skills are sub par; she slips,, slides and gets his body tangled up more times than not when he tries to be a dribbling penetrating baller.

RE: Seattle Game thread
I think Brown is well rounded, but I don't fault you for feeling like that. I don't think he's that turnover prone, but he's definitely at his best coming off a screen and moving without the ball. His dribble penetration could us some work, true, but I want him to drive regardless. It's like play action in football. He has to pass up on some jump shots and go baseline/lane all for the sake of freeing up some space later in the game, especially when playing against a good zone.
Driving and looking for the assist? That's cool, too, but I think we end up in a lot of offensive quagmires like that because it's usually so crowded around the basket. Kicking it back out would normally be an option, but we're not exactly the best at threes. I'd like if the pace of play picked up and if they opted for faster transitions instead of settling for so many slow developing sets.

Dollar attended University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and was a member of the 1995 UCLA Bruins national championship team. In the championship game against Arkansas, he replaced injured starter Tyus Edney[3] as the Bruins won 89–78.[4] Dollar was born in Atlanta,[4] Georgia.
He served ten years (1999–2009) as an assistant to current Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar
We played them in 2004.
The UAB-Washington game in 2004 was a classic. It gets overshadowed by the next game against Kentucky. UAB beat Washington 102-100, in 40 minutes of basketball.
Washington had Nate Robinson, who played in the NBA from 2005-2015.

Four years later, 2008, UAB beat Houston 101-99 at Bartow Arena - all in regulation time. It was a similar pace to the Washington game.

For the game winner!
Quote:“I was as nervous as I don’t know what,” Johnson said. “When Coach Davis said the last play was on me, my eyes lit up and I’m like, ‘We got Robert Vaden. Why do you want me to shoot?’ ” Johnson went out and hit a short floater over a taller Houston defender to give UAB a 101-99 victory. He said that’s still his favorite buzzer-beating moment.
