Subcontractors or seasonal drivers. As long as it arrives as expected and without being damaged they can deliver it on a Moped.

disclaimer: I understand the xmas thingy.....but it's the ninth.....

I have a good friend that is a long time UPS delivery guy. UPS does the same, but not with Uhaul. They use Ryder vans I believe.


Anyway, 3 weeks ago we got a Uhaul/FedEx delivery on a Saturday. We just happen to live in a cul-de-sac on the end of road in a gated subdivision that has had a few daytime breakins recently. Everyone on our street is very friendly and knows each other very well. It is enough that you are willing to leave your kids with the neighbors while you run an errand. Well, almost every person on the street noticed the Uhaul and came out to make sure there wasn't something bad going on. Poor driver was getting stared down.
