With as many bowls as there are now, wouldn't surprise me if we can make a bowl in 2017. On another note, too bad the circumstances this year with some 5-7 teams making bowl games didn't happen last year as a 6-6 team was would've been guaranteed.

I thought about that. The timing for us last year was perfect for us to be totally heartbroken.

Oh well. It's a new day. Let's go bowling in 2017!

South Alabama failed in its bid go become bowl eligible this past weekend.

Only reason mentioned is because some former players on team.

You can thank the great Joey Jones. Thank God we never offered him the job. He begged for it like a whiny school girl. Yes he did per my source that has been spot on.

Yep. I've tried to not talk bad about them this year as much because of some of our former players.

Interesting how some don't want to admit that Jones interviewed for the job in Greenville & somehow was pushing Clark for it.

What am I missing here? Howd this turn to a South Ala ? Jones interviewing at ECU?

Not Greenville, NC...Greenville, AL (south of Montgomery) after McGee left.

Yep Jones interviewed for the UAB position in Greenville Alabama because he couldn't be seen doing it in Birmingham or Mobile.

We'd have been better than 6-6 this year. Maybe a lot better.

Fun fact: Joey Jones voted Bammer #1 in his Coaches' Poll ballot. Stay away from our program.

Teams should feel very fortunate that Ohio State didn't make the top 4.

Had a very close loss to a great team compared to some of the others in the mix.

Jones is a terrible coach.

& relies upon Bammer hand me downs.

The USA QB mentioned in the NEWS was not the UAB transfer. Was Clement injured or just replaced?

He was replaced late in the game for the freshman player.
