I still think it should be at a neutral site. DC, Nashville, New Orleans, St. Louis, KC, Chicago would all be good.

And only have 10k people show up? Definitely a home site. We're no where close to being able to pull off a neutral site.

No. Filled stadium/venue is more important than a neutral setting. Perception is everything right now (ie packed venue). Same reason why the AAC basketball tourney should be at at an AAC school site.

Though I don't think it's too important, it should maybe be played at the home of the higher ranked team. It didn't make a difference this year but a team should not be penalized for OOC losses when they schedule better teams.

Our conference is not very regional. The east teams are too far from the west teams. No sense for both teams to travel 800 miles

Exactly. The MAC, which is much more compact than our conference looked like they barely had 10K in the stands Friday night. Because there is little notice and a short window to sell tickets, even when held on campus sites, most CCG's sell less tickets than the home teams season average. It would be very tough to get much of a turn out at a neutral site. Let our fans keep the CCG travel money in their pocket so they can go on the road to the bowl game that follows a CCG appearance. Filling our bowls is more important.

Isn't it based on conference record already? OOC wins or losses have no effect...

To those wishing Houston to represent the AAC well
This
We have a bright coaching staff, an offense with an electric QB who will disrupt defenses with his masterful scrambling skills, a defense that is far to comfortable in blitzing at any moment, and secondary who will remind opponents going airborne isn't always a good idea.
Yes, I believe Houston will represent the AAC well.

Could be anyone, all dependent on tonight's outcomes. UNC, Clemson, Notre Dame, Michigan State, Iowa, Florida State.
Most likely is probably Notre Dame, Florida State, or UNC. I'm hoping for Notre Dame in the Fiesta.
