Just another blatant example of how the NCAA tries to manipulate conference play.
Same for ESPN imho.

So the committee charged with enforcing the rules cannot themselves follow the rules.

What a clown show.

Yet the same morons reinstate PSU's vacated wins and lift the penalties. Child molestation apparently has no value with the NCAA but allowing a kid, who cannot know the rules as the NCAA makes them up as they go along and only imposes them if they wish to do so. I am surprised the NCAA has not yet been sued for fraud by a coach. The evidence is plain that they are not consistent and have no seriously followed guidelines for investigations, applications of penalties, etc.

It always amazes me when people claim that the NCAA is inconsistent. The NCAA is incredibly consistent. If you make them enough money, you get off. If not, you get screwed.

Considering the fact that the NCAA financially exists only because of the Men's Hoops tourney* and nothing from football, one could easily see that Syracuse is a very large contributor to the NCAA.

Contrast that with PSU and PSU should have had the death penalty for fifty years and Syracuse should never have been investigated, by the above hypothesis.

* The NCAA gets half of the TV revenue from the Men's Tourney. The NCAA does not receive revenue from football. The NCAA uses the revenue from the hoops tourney to fund all the staffers, every other sport tourney, etc.

How much does the NCAA get from licensing via PSU? Don't forget that revenue stream.

To be clear, though, SU's penalty was laughably unfair. We 100% picked up PSU's tab. It's sickening. It really is.

Even though the woman who's leveled the stripper accusations @ UofL is wholly unreliable and should have it all thrown out....I fully expect the National Con-man & Abusers Assoc. to come down on the Cards, hard. Buncha frauds..
