I am trying to get a reading for once and for all to solve the back and forth argument between the Sun Belt and the WAC.

Big East = Mountain West > C-USA = MAC = WAC > Sun Belt

Easily Sun Belt, closely followed by MWC.

You must be joking, the Mountian west is arguably the best conference on that list.

I would say that it is easily the Sun Belt as the weakest and the Big East is easily the strongest. I would rate C-USA, MWC, and the MAC together in the middle. Each of these conferences has some real powerful teams in it, but also has some bottom feeders. The only thing that I can think of to separate is (and I am only talking football with these comments) is that the bottom feeders of the MAC are also the bottom feeders of 1-A football, whereas the bottom feeders of the other two conferences are still a little tough.

I could see placing the MWC no higher than 4th on that list. The Big East, C-USA, and MAC are easily better.
