I know I'm in the minority at this Algonquin roundtable of a message board, but I agree with you.

I watched the UAB-Marshall game last year. It was truly a terrible game to watch. Both teams sucked majorly. Really don't understand the love for Clark.

It's a good thing that VT didn't watch the Memphis-Temple game.

Incredibly different circumstances.

I'll leave you Bill Clark haters with this final tidbit, and them I'm done: UAB's 2016 recruiting class is currently ranked 48....and they don't even play a game until 2017.

But let's go all in for 32 year old OC. SMFH.

Their recruiting class is almost entirely made up of JUCOs which is understandable but it also explains the rating. He isn't getting highly rated high school players.

Where there is smoke there is fire....He's interested and you know it feller. He kicked the tires.

That's the thing, there is no smoke. It's no knock against Memphis but it's going to take something really really special for him to leave UAB right now given the circumstances which are very unique. His current UAB 2016 recruiting class is ranked #48 in the country. He could have left UAB after the program was shutdown but for whatever reason he decided to stay not knowing if the program would be resurrected . Now he's got new facilities coming along with a great recruiting class.

He won't be at UAB forever, but he ain't leaving until this team is back on the field or his wife says she's ready to leave.

smoke...poof
