We play Arizona at 6 p.m. CT Friday at BYU. If we win our first match, we will play BYU or Ohio in the second round.

A tough draw and a long way to travel. Arizona is ranked 23rd in the Country and BYU is ranked 11th in the Country. If we beat Arizona, we will probably play BYU in the Second Round on their home floor. BYU played in the National Championship Match last season.

Why would they pair up two ranked teams in the first round of a 64 team tourney ?

We are now ranked 20th in the Poll and Arizona is ranked 27th. Our RPI is 13th.

I think we should have received a more favorable draw.

NCAA made a lot of strange selections this year that were contrary to the coaches poll and RPI. How Arkansas State, with an 18 RPI and number 24 Coaches Poll rating got sent to #5 Washington for a sub regional, I don't pretend to know.
