OU and the Michigan St.-Iowa winner are in. Alabama and Clemson are in if they win, out if they lose as is the MSU/IA loser. UNC and Ohio St. likely get those last two slots if AL and Clemson are upset. Stanford has a shot to beat out Ohio St.

But, Oklahoma's win made this game meaningless regarding the playoffs.

I think ND is going to the same bowl game at 10-2 or 11-1.

ND had a great season at 10-2 with all the injuries with the two losses on the road, both by two points.

I would take a 10-2 season every year unless the losses were Air Force and Navy.

Unless the committee wants them to...this isn't the AP or Coaches poll, or even BCS rankings

UNC needs Alabama to lose as well, and even then it might be doubtful. I'd be interested to see how much Florida State jumps after beating Florida tonight.

Florida State will probably jump to #9, maybe #8 if Baylor falls below them. Considering how mediocre Florida has been since they lost their QB, I don't see FSU jumping Baylor.

FSU just destroyed the SEC East champ....Baylor lost 2 of their 4 tough games. I think FSU will move past them

Stanford and the PAC 12 have been eliminated for awhile

I agree that they dominated Florida but ever since they lost their QB, dominating Florida just doesn't seem as big of a deal. I agree that it is possible FSU passes Baylor but it isn't a sure thing.

If Iowa loses. Could they still get in?

The problem is could Oklahoma lose favor because the Big 12 does not have a 13th game that is a CCG? It hurt Baylor and TCU last year.

Nope. MSU would take their spot and they would drop below Ohio State thanks to that blow out win by Ohio State.

It is the same situation that we have seen SEC people put forward about seeing two SEC teams get in from the same division. Ohio State could slip in if Clemson or Alabama lose but Iowa would be behind Ohio State most likely. Now if both Clemson and Alabama lose? Nah, no way the Committee puts in three teams from the same conference. No way what so ever.

Iowa has to win against MSU.

Oklahoma looks dominant. They are strong both offensively and defensively. TCU dominated in their last game but that was against an unranked Iowa State. Oklahoma dominated a top 15 team in Oklahoma State in a massive rivalry game AT Oklahoma State.

Oklahoma's win was much more impressive than TCU's. Plus...there is a brand difference between Oklahoma and TCU that is unfair but at the same time is undeniable.

Nope. And for one BIG reason....Oklahoma is a national brand. Sorry, but that is the truth.

Brand literally means nothing. That was tin-foil hat crap that XII fans used last year.

OU looked real dominant against Texas.

Yes and Ohio State looked real dominant against Virginia Tech last year. So what?

Oklahoma looks dominant now, that is what matters, just like how it did with Ohio State.

TCU wasn't the champion last year. Baylor was in the committee's mind. Baylor had a crap OOC schedule. Oklahoma had Tennessee and 2 other bowl teams as their 3 game OOC schedule.

actually what was the killer was the replay. If they had reversed the touchdown, ND still scores but with less time on the clock. Changes everything.

Anyone who thought TCU/Baylor was out of the playoff last year was crazy.

Point is, we have a precedent. So this thread is a troll thread, until next week.
