Davis may be the best pure passer we have ever had.

What we don't know, is how he will handle 300lb d-linemen drilling him and how he will handle the other pressure he will be under...

the good news is he played (and excelled ) at the highest level of Mississippi hs football and he is a real student of the game

Davis is a stud. He also had stud receivers to throw to.

His dad is a Memphis graduate not a former player.

According to Schad, Fuente has been impressed. He was more highly recruited than Lynch. I'm looking forward to seeing him play.

A big time WR is something the Tigers sorley are lacking. I have wondered what could be if PL had had some/one high level WR. A go to guy. That should be high on the list of the new coach. I think the WR's we have have done a fair job. Miller is pretty good.

If miller was 6'4 and ran a 4.4, he'd be an absolute beast with the talent he has

Wimprine and Lynch are two damn good QBs. They were not great as freshmen and we'll have a new coach with a new system so factor that into your expectations as well.

Instincts, knowledge, etc, etc are all there. Arm isn't the strongest RIGHT NOW, but that will come. If he can put on 15-20 pounds in the offseason, that would be great

I thought Holgerson looked good...granted the only real time he has got was against a overmatched Missouri State...but he looked decent for a freshman.
