For the other games: Florida State to the Peach to play the Houston-Temple winner. That leaves Notre Dame playing the Mich St-Iowa loser in the Fiesta Bowl. For the Sugar's choices if Alabama beats Florida, I'll guess Florida-TCU, but Ole Miss and Baylor are also possible.

I'll guess Clemson-Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl and Alabama-Big Ten champ in the Cotton Bowl.

OU is already in the three so Clemson would have to drop. Bama didn't exactly blow out Auburn either. Bama/OU in the Cotton is a much better sell. Then if things hold, I'd slot it as:

Peach: FSU vs ND

Fiesta: Temple/Houston vs Iowa
Rose: Stanford vs OSU
Sugar: Ole Miss vs Baylor

OU playing in Dallas is as much of a home-field advantage as OU playing in Norman. If OU is seeded #3 or 4, that would be incredibly unfair to the higher seed. Might happen, but would be unfair.

Also, unlikely that the Fiesta gets the G5 team, because they got the G5 team last year. It's the Peach Bowl's turn to get a G5 team; they didn't get the G5 team last year and can't next year because they have a semifinal next year. And, both of those teams are much closer to Atlanta.

If Michigan State loses, Baylor might move in with a big win over Texas

Ohio State is probably either playoff bound or in the Rose Bowl...

I'm guessing TCU will fill in the Sugar Bowl bid

Baylor would be going to the Sugar I think. They'll be the highest B12 team for sure.

I do agree with you about Ohio St. That would leave Iowa for the Fiesta.

Baylor is behind us in the polls and probably the playoff rankings, but they are likely the Sugar rep if they win because the same Big 12 tiebreaker rules are applied to determine the BiG 12 sugar rep as the champ. Baylor wins Big 12 tiebreaker scenarios if they win; OSU will go if Baylor loses.

Rose Bowl chairman gives the strongest hint possible about which Big Ten team they're going to choose.

Re: Iowa or Ohio State to Rose Bowl. Its chairman tells me the "strong presumption" is it will take next-highest ranked CFP team, period.
