2ND Half Minutes
Shaq 20
Dedric 20
Tarrant 19
Woodson 16
Burrell 17

Dedric was dead at the end of the half, you could see his man running open on the defensive end.

You have to trust your bench and play your subs...5 minutes for KJ in the second half and maybe they have enough wind to finish the game off.

Nobody was playing so well they could not be taken out for a rest.

KJ hurt his calf or foot in the first half. Josh signaled him in and he could barely walk

We were too busy losing to give Marshall a minute. Might have lead to a 7 or 8 point loss...

I think just play HORSE in practice until we get to the Ohio State game. It will improve our shooting.

Maybe I should call his show and say it to his face?

RE: 2ND Half Minutes
Martin got the hook after going 0-3, and I don't think he got off the bench after that.

Bright side: pastner did well to bring in tarrant. Without him we lose that game by 20.
Bright side: while shaq should have been more effective on offense, I think he's capable of rebounding like that on a regular basis.
Bright side: ut Arlington could win a butt load of games in whatever crappy conference they are in, and at least they best Ohio state first.

kj could barely walk off the court at halftime

he did not play the 2nd half

marshall kept riding the bicycle to keep ready but did not play

Does Memphis have a cycling team he can join?

I'm not sure HORSE is enough.

We should probably play HIPPOPOTYMUS or SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPEALIDOCIUS

Watched Shaq grab offensive rebound after rebound & immediately take himself out of position to make a shot. He rarely goes right back up (which he should be doing), usually dribbles himself under the basket instead with no way to shoot, giving the opponent time to defend the shot. These are fundamental weaknesses that can easily be corrected by consistent coaching & disciplined play. Only issue is that Shaq is now a senior & he's been doing this for 4 yrs without change. A positive for Shaq last night was his FT shooting (don't want to even think about DL's FT shooting).

Since Shaqs only method of scoring is putting the ball directly above his head and shooting he is always afraid of getting his shot blocked.

He is beyond frustrating to watch. If he had ANY kind of post game he would've had 20 & 15 last night (some of his rebounds were off of his own dumbfounding misses)
