UC Merced holds ‘teach-in’ to help students understand stabbing attacker
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015...-understa/

Quote:The conservative college news website The College Fixreported that the teach-in was “conspicuously” devoid of discussions of radical Islam, and instead “delved into topics such as how society’s notions of masculinity pressure men.”

...

“Anger, that is really what we think about when we think about emotional men,” she reportedly said. “They are subject to social sanctions if they deviate from masculinity. If you are perceived as failing at it, you are subject to being called a fag, a *****, a wimp, pretty much what women are, right?”

“So when you have this limited ability to sort of express your emotions and possible feelings of emasculation, of low self esteem, how do you really [deal with] that? A lot of times they … engage in violence. They need to compensate for their loss of masculinity in the most manly way they have access to, and unfortunately, a lot of times that’s violence.”

We're our own worst enemy sometimes. Meaning us liberals.

The UC system is just messed up...This is just the tip of the iceberg. A case study should be done to detail the financial waste that runs through it.

Maybe I need to attend a teach-in to help me understand why some liberals defend Islamists, regardless what they do.

Liberals were all over a Christian baker for refusing to make a wedding cake for a gay couple. Yet, they were surprisingly silent when a few gays were thrown off a building.

They seem to bend over backwards to excuse the behavior of Muslims. Even when Muslims state their intentions are to kill all infidels, some liberals will try to say they don't really mean it. When a Palestinian stabs an Israeli to death, it's because of the settlements. Mysogony, pedophilia and bestiality are almost Islamic sacraments. I could go on and on, but you all know plenty of examples.

I am willing to consider all rationale arguments from any prog as to why.
