So what if LSU decides they wont be able to find a replacement at this point that they feel is actually better than Les Miles. Does Les Miles just go along with the program as if none of this ever happened or does he start being proactive for himself and look for a new position on his own?

Coaching situations like this sometimes take on a life of their own. Sometimes, it is difficult to accurately predict an outcome.

But, my opinion is that the horse is already too far out of the barn on this one.

Could it be possible for LSU to give Miles one more year? Sure, possible.

But, I don't think that it is very likely.

I actually have a different theory about all this. To me, when there was a supposed source coming out to Joe Schad whom was directly involved in putting together the money in order to get rid of Miles, well that just seemed fishy.

What is there to gain by taking it public early if it is basically a done deal?

What is there to gain by having Joe Schad go public with that story because you actually Are having problems getting together the 15 million? What if you decide that you actually just want Miles to get rid of some of his Coaching Staff?

Well, if Miles isn't willing to do that then you spread a rumor so that some of them start looking around for other positions.....as we saw with Orgeron.
