I do not think Joe would have made much of an impact in the NBA, but he could have been a journeyman player in the realm of a Ish Smith. Good to see that "in yo face" universally translates.
Snicker.

I can't blame Coach for Joe or any of the other players not being in the league now. They have been out of school for a couple of seasons, and now basketball is their job. If you have the goods, by now, especially since they've received other coaching, they probably would have stuck. So this is just my opinion, it's on the players now, basketball is a job, a profession for them, can't keep blaming Pastner for it now, it's on the players.
Fair point.

Sorry, that's a nice theory, but it doesn't work like that. This is a political game as well. Once you fall out of favor, it's hard to make it playing out of the dleague and in Korea. Your weaknesses have been greatly exposed in College and NBA teams are no longer as willing to overlook those weaknesses. Most drafted players have weaknesses, but they will overlook them when you are in college and if they like the other stuff that you do, just work around them when you are in the league. In the dleague/international system, you are damaged goods and it's hard to revive that without a vastly superior skillset or athletic profile.
