Nick did play in the 2nd half and looked pretty decent

Nick is indeed a project. Re classified to come out a year early so he's a year younger than your typical freshman. Not that he looks it. He was recruited based on size and potential. Idk how good he will ever be at scoring, but he can be a rebounder and shot blocker for us. And we have other scoring options so he's a good fit.

He seems awfully slow and kind of uncoordinated. Maybe if he drops some LBs he will be quicker but right now he seems slow.

I could understand if he was a freshman in High School he could greatly increase his mobility...You normally do not gain much quickness after you turn 18.

At least he's smart enough to put the ball on the glass instead of clanging it off the rim. I'll take substance over style anytime. He gets good position for rebounds also.

I don't think nick is in the best shape right now. Looks a little thick in the middle. Getting in better shape would help his quickness and leaping ability.

You may be right, but I just don't understand how that's possible unless he missed all the preseason conditioning, etc.
