Bench beats starters again 46-33. This team is deep.

We looked much better tonight. Lee showed some life in his last few mins on the court. Cokley was off, but everyone else seemed to play well. We have a very deep team. Hats off to Sullivan. Let's keep the positive momentum going..

We would have absolutely destroyed Troy in football this year.

They doubled Cokley all night. That was clearly their game plan when he came in.

Troy's Jeremy Hollimon scored 21 points against South Florida. Tonight, against UAB, Hollimon was 0-12. He was 0-5 from 2-point range and 0-7 from behind the arc. For the first three games of the season, Hollimon is 0-14 from behind the arc.

The 48-10 chant actually received a positive reaction from the UAB bench while our AD looked confused as to what was going on.

And that's any different for him than any other time it involves UAB and football.

RE: Official Game Thread: Troy
Even though we played much better last night I still think we should make a change to the starting lineup. I missed the very beginning of the game, but it seems like they came out better than they have in our first three games. However, they again came out flat in the 2nd half and allowed Troy to tie the game. We then went on a run with our bench players. I think Williams needs to be starting over Baxter at this point. He's shown himself to be a very good player, and will be even better with more minutes. He's legit. No matter what, I still think something, at least minor, should be changed. Our bench and our starters are clearly unbalanced. We've had 7/8 halves start flat for us with this same lineup.

Can't help but think how good this team is going to be once Lee starts producing consistently.

I agree that Dirk Williams has probably earned more minutes based on his play so far. I wouldn't mind seeing him start next game.

We got off to a strong first half start until we got in foul trouble. I attribute the slow second half start to the face that Meninti and Lee were tentative due to their foul trouble and they had sat so long in the first half. We only had six offensive rebounds which is another indicator that they were being careful not to pick up that 4th and 5 the fouled. Surprised no one fouled out.

I seriously doubt the starting lineup is going to change. It really does not matter since ten players are getting lots of minutes.
