You aren't on a higher plane of thought on this subject as much as you desperately want to be.
I haven't laid in the weeds as you when he both statistically and actually was outstanding marginalizing him and the results. You have a paper trail.

I'd love to see this paper trail.

I don't hate the kid, dude. I wish like f@$/ing hell, like we all do, that he'd have come through and won this thing for us. And as I've said already I'm open to the idea that he was not coached correctly to come through in this situation.

But tell me. Did he not have a wide open check down against BGSU late and deep in their territory. Did he not have a ton of room to run it in tonight with the game on the line? I sure hope the coaches bring these things up on film. I don't know why it's off limits to talk about on a freaking message board.

Paper trail ... web board trail ... what's the diff Dude?

Win for us? Now we're talking "plane". None of those kids or staff for that matter owe you squat. Even if you contribute big bucks. That's your choice champ.

It's a freaking athletic contest. The kids lay it on the line and aren't dogging it.

You see the check downs, the green space and the wide open wide receivers from your recliner. You have no idea, NONE, what is going on the field of play. Even if you are a BMB alum and touched the turf with your toes, still no freaking concept.

You're entitled to whine. Have at it. It speaks volumes but apparently you're tone deaf and blind.

And you fly?

Why do I try to talk to you, lmao.

This is a MESSAGE BOARD. Where we talk about the games that go on. The good bad and ugly things therein.

I'm sorry you don't want that to go beyond "everyone tried really hard and that was cool to watch and I have no emotional investment". Not to mention the hypocrisy when you come on here and critique the kids.

Seriously, I appreciate the insight you bring to this board. Why not stick to that instead of being a snarky prick when someone says something you don't like?

I have an emotional investment in WMU and its athletics you dope. I would venture a significantly higher one than you could even aspire to. I've got cache in the game. But when the team doesn't fill my emotional tank I don't throw them under the bus.

Remember, it's a MESSAGE BOARD (whatever that means) or so I have been told.

Hypocrisy or appreciate? Which is it? You can't honestly make that statement because I dont throw the kids under the bus.

Connar Tava plays below the rim. Zach Terrell can't make decisions.

Which one is the honest above the belt assessment? Which one is an insult?

Does someone have to hold your hand and walk you over to get a closer look?

I didn't play above the rim. (Am I correct Major?) So I have what some may call "skin in the game". I'm a spade. I see a spade. To not call one would be lie. You on the other hand, to assuage your apparent lack of self respect belittle others to make you feel better.

That's big of you.

You got anything else?

Sometimes the better team wins... Oh wait... That happens all the time. We were NOT the better team tonight. Period.

Again we took a deuce on O.

Critique is fine. We all do that day in and day out. Again, what people do on message boards. I don't care if you do that, in fact I again APPRECIATE it as insight and often thought provoking. It becomes hypocrisy when you get pissy and pull the "they're just kids trying their best" card, when others make an assessment you don't like.

I appreciate the psych evaluation, too. I'll be sure to get on the line with a therapist now that I know about this glaring lack of self respect I'm evidently dealing with.

There is a difference between a critique I have offered and others have mentioned being that ZT appears to "lock in" on receivers as opposed to ZT cant make decisions in crunch time. Clearly implying he doesn't have the intellectual wherewithal to do so.

He doesn't complete a pass so he's less smart than say ... you. I don't APPRECIATE that insight no matter how you couch it. But it is clear as day for anyone to see. 'Cept maybe those of the same perspective.

And by implying you have the insight and skill to see and infer act on this and he cant is laughable.

Darn, that kid is stupid! He blows! Now I feel terrible so I'll displace that and put it on him.

And I don't even charge by the hour. Imagine that.

Again you have decided what I mean to say.

I have met Zach Terrell a few times in the real world. I don't think he lacks intelligence in any way. I will grant you that saying he can't make decisions in crunch time may have been too harsh of a way of saying it (I don't spend the time to sit and edit all my posts for fear of being picked apart), but my point stands that there has been an issue with his decision making during critical situations the past two games.

I am, once again, open to the idea that this is a coaching issue. If you want to discuss that instead of continuing a pissing match I'd be happy to, otherwise I'm done with this argument.

I'll accept your "qualified" correction but the intent "may"still exist, and that's my beef. That's hypocrisy.

Coaching? I ignored that deflection a couple posts ago. Staying on task we got to the bottom of it. ZT's performance is a enough of a dent to your self image that you still feel better by qualifying your argument.

Your consistent, I'll give you that.

Interesting how when Terrell plays well it comes from his "development" under current regime; when he struggles, we're not winning big yet because Fleck is still playing with Cubit's recruits-doesn't have all "his" own players.

I haven't seen that said much at all. Other than straw-man arguments postulated by DB and Chip, that is.

It's all DB's fault. 03-melodramatic

All I can say to this is if I was concerned about my self image in re: college sports (a dumb notion to begin with) I'd just follow the crowd and be a UM/MSU/ND fanboy.

Which is it?

A dumb notion or one only applied to those institutions you see as a competitive threat?

You say much more than you intend I fear.
