Winner of the AAC will still get the New Year bowl.

no doubt about that, but I think today showed the conference is a joke

If UConn (who just upset Houston) beats Temple next week then we're right back in the conversation. Im sticking with optimism.

Temple does have a pretty good defense, and I just don't see UConn scoring against Temple. Plus if Uconn gets the same memo Memphis got this morning about laying down for the conference, I doubt an upset can occur.

Apparently UCONN didn't get the memo this week. An undefeated Houston would have been best for the AAC.

Today was "Exposed Saturday". We really saw today what a fraud AAC football was this year.

Houston losing to UCONN doesn't look any worse than NIU losing to Central Michigan. Granted, the CMU loss was kind of fluky due to a billion fumbles.

If I recall correctly, Temple was around 8-5 and 9-4 its last few years in the MAC. The 2 conferences are truly about the same in overall quality. Each Conference has good wins against he P5 as well as inside their own conference. Just like NIU and BG. Too bad there is not a play-in game for the G5 to see who gets into the G5 spot.

I agree.

To bad we do not have an 8 or 16 team play-off which gives every G5 school the chance to control its ow destiny, live every P5 school has.

I doubt half the members of the committee even know there is a football team called the Buffalo Bulls

If they are being paid, that would be possible grounds for dismissal.

I don't think it matters. It's not a computer points based system like the BCS. Only two things matter, NIU wins the MAC, and South Florida wins the AAC.

UConn can upset Temple, and that would put USF in the AAC title game and they have looked like the hottest team in the country the last few weeks. Why and where it came from I'll never know, but I'm happy it at least gave us some hope
