My e-mail:

Quote:For the longest time Time-Warner has advertised quality products and quality customer service. I for one do agree that both are up to par. The only complaint I have is with the speed, or lack thereof, that new stations are added to the service. Satellite carriers and competing cable carriers always beat TWC in bringing in new stations. ESPNU, The NFL Channel, and CSTV are examples of this.  These channels are in very high demand for viewers in the Raleigh-Durham area and should be added to the channel line-up as soon as possible.  I would gladly pay to have the Digital Sports Package added to my service if these channels were included. Please work in getting these channels added as soon as possible, preferably before the start of the College and Professional football seasons so that I'm not forced to look at other providers.  Thank you for your time.

Their reply:

Quote:We have not received an updated from our Corporate office on the status of ESPNU.  A carriage contract must be signed in order for us to add this channel.  Our Corporate office is well aware that our market is a hotbed for college athletics.  Plus, the ESPN brand is unsurpassed in sports programming.  We have also taken note of the request for NFL TV and CSTV.  Thank you for taking the time to request these channels.

Some on the Boneyard claim that the replies from TWC are canned, but that's a big honking can as I haven't seen a single reply that was the same. Here's hoping such things have an impact.

The daily phone calls to TWC start in 3, 2, 1...

Good luck! :ecu:

We had Time Warner when I was in Houston... I used to think it stunk. Then I moved to Connecticut (it's OwlJacket's fault), got Comcast, and learned the real meaning of the word "stunk".

I would've fired TWC a month ago but my stupid apartment faces the wrong direction and I can't have the dish installed in a way that 'modifies the exterior appearance'. Bah.

Hopefully I can just annoy them into submission.
