Good lord, this x 100000000.

Don't look at the recruit rankings for next years class. It is getting obsurd.

I know. And we'll hear about how great Cal and K are at recruiting. Um no, they don't do anything. The kids come to them. Those 2 just pick who they want.

Glad Memphis lost. I hope they have a losing record.

The worst part about it is having to listen to Jay Bilas drool over Cal as if he is a food coach or something. There is zero coaching or development necessary with this type of talent and having them for one year.

Not sure how far off he was from Niang, Wiltjer or Simmons in voting but Denzel Valentine is going to be in the discussion for AP all-American. Working on a triple double. Guy does it all and does it all out.

Well we play them twice...it would have been better for us had they beaten OU. Just sayin'.

Seems like he's been in college since 2000.

He's the Jess Settles of this generation. I think he was at Iowa for 11 years.

Around the AAC, UCF fell to the UC Irvine ant eaters 60-61 in OT. UCF scored 2 points in the overtime period and Irvine scored 3...
On a less depressing note, Houston had their first game last night and beat Prairie View A&M 110-69

Don't forget the battle of the 7'6ers, Fall and Ndiaye. Combined for 11 pts total.

Do we really need to have the entire season combined into one thread? I hate these massive threads where you can never find the beginning of the posts since you last read. Plus whenever you use the search feature and the result is in one of these types of threads who is ever actually going to comb through that many pages.

Not sure this is a big deal. Akron should have been favored to win in this one. Arkansas is not ranked in the top 25 or receiving votes. There was a espn poll, earlier in the year, ranking them at around 75th best team in the country. There are a lot of P5 or "big boy" schools that are in name only. Arkansas is one of them.

Akron clearly looked like the better team last night, I was amazed at how dead BUD Walton arena was, seemed like about half full and very quiet. I guess just seeing that court reminded me of the time they were a real power under Richardson.

Agree on the search feature; it can be annoying.

For the bolded part, though - if you don't use the green arrow feature next to each thread title, definitely do that. It'll take you right to where you last left off for each thread.

Arkansas was great back in the day with Todd Day, Lee Mayberry, "Big Nasty" Corliss Williamson, Scotty Thurman, et al. They haven't played "40 minutes of hell" down in Fayetteville in nearly 20 years.

Temple just beat Minnesota 75-70. Solid W.

Randy Kennedy might lose to George Mason. Down 3 with 1 minute left.

Crazy their arena was that dead. Under Richardson Ark was fantastic. 40 minutes of hell. I remember a Huggins team playing down there when Julson, Burton, Flint were on the team. I believe we beat them and Pres Clinton came into the locker room and congratulated the team.

If I recall correctly, Arkansas lost 2 of their better players this year's team due to criminal violations. Not surprised at all.

Watched USF hang in against GW tonight. Ended up losing by 6, but looked a lot better than I would have thought.
