50-24 vs. 50-33 interesting definition of "same." Context matters. If no one is willing to chart the plays, when they were run, where they were run, the numbers are fan banter. Hoping the coaches think beyond that.
Something heard on a run in the BG game I didn't hear in the NIU game, "nice block by Russell." Early run around end, not into the teeth while perfectly viable blocking positions are twenty yards down from the LOS as they were doing even in the BG game by second Q.
It's the running game that gives the passing game a chance on this year's team. Just the way it is until some things get worked on that end. Next year? Who knows. Speaking of, will next year be the first in a long time we've not had at least one 6'4" or taller target? Anyone in the pipeline to follow Russell?

Jr College transfer. This is a weapon every QB needs to have this day and age. Speed can be matched but few corners are matching up with 6'4" and over, which would be another thing on my wish list. At least one quick tall guy who likes D.
