Chuck Machock was Oscar's roommate. UC won the game 118-54 ; Seton Hall beat us the year before 80-67 ....pretty big turnaround.

I did not witness the best era in basketball when I was in school ( 2006-2010), and many moments I remember from growing up have already been listed. I would say the best thing I ever got to witness in person ( I grew up in Columbus, so I did not often get to come see the games growing up) was taking my dad to the Marquette game in 2012.

My dad was a UC alum who raised me on Cincinnati basketball ( and I wasted my first 18 years on OSU football, but never OSU basketball), and it was great being able to take him to that game. We had awful seats up in the rafters, and we were there super early, and got picked as the seat upgrade of the game, and ended up about 8 rows up behind the bench to see them destroy #8 Marquette.

I was watching the game on TV. When Durdin was fouled at the buzzer everyone (the UC Fans anyway) KNEW we had won the game, even though we were down two points. I was laughing out loud as I watched LaZellee's swagger as as he walked to the foul line to take the three free throws. .

I was at the UMass game, loudest nuttiest game I've ever attended. I loosely remember a trumpet player doing the national anthem, although it could have been another game, and he did it so perfectly and with such energy the crowd was in a frenzy from the moment he finished to the end of the game.

It was so loud that Umass had a couple breakdowns on offense in the final few minutes. Wingfield hit a couple of late three's to give UC the lead and the roof came off the joint. My ears rang for a day or two after the game no joke.

For some reason my favorite moment was watching the 2000 team destroy SLU on Kenyon's senior day. I remember watching on TV and just smiling, as if there was no way this team was losing.

Unfortunately later that week I was proven wrong with the worst memory ever.

Kenyon takeover vs. DePaul.

Donald Little shot vs. Marquette.

Satterfield last second shot @ Memphis.

FULL GAME: #1 UC vs. #7 UNC 1999-2000 season.

UC vs. Georgetown 2012 Big East Tournament Quarterfinal.

Cronin's second team upsets Louisville @ Freedom Hall.
