UC BBall TV Schedule
Are the first 3 games televised or can you only stream them through espn3?

UC BBall TV Schedule
Looking at gobearcats.com, looks like Robert Morris is on Fox Sports Ohio. The others are on espn3.

I get some ESPN3 games on DirecTV now, but I don't see today's game on there. :(

I can't find the game on DirecTV here in Columbus. I won't be home from work until 7:30, so I'm going to miss some of the game if I can't DVR it. Anyone know what channel it may be on?

It's on ESPN3. I have no idea if that's on DirecTV or not as I stream it.

The ESPN3 games are usually on Fox Sports Ohio locally. Since there is a Blue Jackets game on at the same time, it would be on an alternate channel for me, so I'm trying to figure out if that's the case.

RE: UC BBall TV Schedule
I would like to be able to come home and watch the game from the beginning and catch up to it being live by the beginning of the 2nd half. Not sure if I can do that with WatchESPN. Plus, I hate streaming sports. The video quality can be brutal at times, even with decent internet.

With my 20 Mbps I don't have any problem with the streaming. The only downside is not being able to pause it, that really sucks.

I have 15 Mbps, but for some reason I've always had issues with WatchESPN. Sometimes I get HD the whole game, other times I barely get any at all. My internet does fine with Netflix, YouTube, etc.

Tonight is ESPN3 only.

The next 3 home games are FSO and ESPN3.

Party on.

I always had problems watching on my computer, but now that I use Apple TV they have always been fine after the first few seconds. (Knock on wood)

The Watch ESPN app on roku definitely lets you "start from the beginning" regardless of when game starts. I assume it's the same WatchESPN app you get on phone/tablet/pc but ??

RE: UC BBall TV Schedule
I still find it disappointing that we agreed to a home and home with BG with out a guarantee that it will be on TV in some form, no ESPN 3 does not count. I was hoping that it would be on FS Ohio or ASN but that is not the case. Otherwise, I don't mind playing at small time schools.

All these ESPN3 streaming things are just dandy, but only if your cable company as a deal to allow ESPN3. I can not get anything on ESPN3. Those games are radio only for me.

Just fired up the Watch ESPN app on my Roku to watch Iowa State vs. Colorado. It's working great even with my terrible DSL. I'm optimistic.

Do you have a smart TV, Apple TV or Amazon Firestick?

and sad to say, but at least in the SE Indiana Comcast cable market, sometimes the ESPN3 games are blacked out and well, it's ridiculous. Xavier games shouldn't get the edge on being on tv when in the same time period. Either that or UC make sure their games are not the same times as XU.
