You're adding a completely new sport to the athletic program. That seems worthy of an announcement, even if it's not one that you are a fan of or isn't traditionally a revenue sport.

Announcement yes, vague teaser tweet, no. There is a MAJOR difference.

I agree. I'd expect adding a new sport would be kind of a big deal to the Charlotte faithful.
Hell, I'm a football-first guy, too, but I'm glad UAB rifle and bowling came back, too, even if I don't know jack about either.

It is a big deal and a sport where we can quickly be competitive. I like it.
