I will. We will win Monday. Mark it down.

And I'll count a few more before they happen. Our schedule is a joke.

Yeah, not crazy about the schedule, particularly the OOC . . . Last year we dropped 13 of our last 18 played. . . . Now I understand that last year has nothing to do with this year, but some of those loses were games we should have won . . .

Until we show we can take care of those games, I'm not taking anything for granted

. . . even against a crappy schedule . . . . but that's just me . .

Good first day with all wins in games we should win.

I know it is crazy early but Ga Southern and Troy are tied for #1 in RPI right now -- lol

I'm looking forward to seeing how this season turns out. Troy may have a chance to do some big things...

I thought Person was the best scorer I saw play besides RJ last season.

He might follow in his dad's and uncle's footsteps ... if so he could have a really special career at Troy.

Our starting senior - Gant - has been suspended for the first half of our first game Monday night. Something he did at practice that pissed Kaspar off.

Little Rock had their's yesterday.

We used to do it in February, but the fall just feels like the right time and we have far more student participation since we moved it in 2012 than we ever did (I might even argue we get better participation now than football did in the '70's and '80's).

If today is any indication, UTA bringing the high intensity offense back tonight. Eight players with at least two three-point attempts, seven with a make. UTA leads 63-48, a few minutes past the halfway mark in the second.

And now they are dying by the three. Under 40% shooting whil Fordham is making some. UTA up 70-68 with three minutes left.

Crazy ending to the game. UTA led by one under a minute, gets a stop, misses free throws, gets rebounds, gets fouled on a three attempt...

Somehow UTA wins by 5, 77-72.

I get that Fordham isn't the powerhouse South Florida is (sarcasm), but UTA picks up a DI win yesterday, helping the conference RPI and no one says anything...?

No one said anything about us winning yesterday either. We both beat teams we should have, a congratulations isn't really necessary.

We don't have a basketball program, so I pay almost no attention to the basketball threads.

I'll be honest, it's hard for me to watch College Basketball anymore. The game has changed so much, and not for the better honestly. Literally, the only College Basketball I watched last year was the first two days of the NCAA tournament. Barely watched anything else.

Sun Belt Wise, we have one basketball first school in the league. You guys have at least 4, maybe more.

I agree about how collage basketball is now played, with the shot clock now at 30 seconds, its just a glorified YMCA pickup game. Watched a game Friday night, I don't think either team all night long made more than 3 passes per possession, just first man open shoots, didn't matter if it was a good or bad shot.
