RE: CUSA Special Teams Player of the Week
that's just mean......can I pile on with a rainbow effect that defines his (ol' 42) thought process? I think I will just for ol' 42 and his stilljonesing 'tude....(forgive me fair and impartial marshall fans....and especially the kicker who I sympathize with....however, ol' 42 deserves this one)

Poor kid, saw him crying on the sideline. If anything he could learn from the experience, be better player and learn to overcome adversity in football and life

To take up for him, he was perfect in PATs and FGs his entire career until last week, including starting out the year 12-for-12 on Field goals this year.

Sounds a lot like that Brotzman kid from Boise a few years ago who missed two close FG's to lose to Nevada. Good chance they might could've ended up playing for a title that year since they were ranked #3 at the time.

would bet he's mind fk'd the rest of his life.....

it's borderline insurmountable pressure these kids face today....

social media, pay for play, you name it, it's a different atmosphere that will cripple many.....

we have basically the same problem at the K spot.....

yeah, I took *mt for the dollars....

but my heart sank every time with every miss.....

it used to be a game we watched that was fun and tossed out occasional smack....

now it's a life or death issue with some of these kids.....

I don't like it....not one bit....

I totally agree....but then you have to deal with the social media aspect....

it's a different arena today....

RE: CUSA Special Teams Player of the Week
I'm just hoping our fanbase had the decency to not send him death threats (something the Michigan punter didn't have the luxury of). There isn't likely a person more upset about that game in Huntington today than him. Performances like the last couple games for him could live in his head the rest of his career and screw up what he has left of it.

No kicker piling on, but in the spirit of good fun...

Check out the Marshall player at the far right becoming a spectator. He wins the matador award for avoiding contact at a critical moment.
